Surgery

On Wednesday I went in for hernia surgery. The surgery went very well the doctor said. But when I was coming out of the anesthesia I had a reaction to it and I stopped breathing two different times. They had to bag me to bring me back. It was suppose to be same day surgery but with me stop breathing I ended up having to spend the night. No fun! Other than me stop breathing and almost dieing everything is fine with me. Just very sore! So all that I have been doing is laying in bed and watching the Olympics on TV. Very bored! That's about all that went on during my event full week.

HELLO!!

Hello my fellow blogers! Ok I know that I am horrible at this bloging thing! but any way. Prom was way fun. We ate at Cafe Trio in Salt Lake then went to the dance at Thanksgiving Point. Recently I had my 18th birthday, bought me some brand new sweet Oakley Monster Pup sunglasses. For my birthday I got a red I-pod nano the 8gb, a pair of new under armour shoes. Shortly I will post some pictures from the Springshow Case so you can see all of my shop stuff. Today the Springville baseball team is playing in the semi-finals they play either Dixie or Cottonwood. So I will keep you posted. That is all from the boring life of Kellen!

Saturday

Well today was a very boring day! I (mom) woke (me) up at 10:15 to see President Monson get sustained as prophet. Then I went back to sleep and didn't wake up for good until 12:30. It was awesome. But I still felt really tired. Then I started cleaning my room and doing my garbages which I didn't get them all done until about 4:30. Then I went and ran some errands and then came back home and changed for the Pristhood session. The Priesthood session was ok. Got boring and spots, but I tried to pay attention cause I have to do Seminary make up. Got home from priesthood and me and dad changed and then went to Zubs and ate. Now Abbie and Kelsie are going to help me ask someone to prom tonight. The girl that i am going to ask is leaving on a cruise tommorrow.

Finally an Update

Hey-
Sorry it has been so long there has been a lot of things going on.
Fist off with the Sterling Scholar, I didn't win if i was going to win I would have needed a perfect 4.0 and a perfect on the ACT. Well that is what the girl had that i lost to. Second Aerating has kept me very very busy. We rented it for a week and we have done 44 lawn so far the machine is due back wendsday morning and we still have 20 more lawns to do, and to make things more complicated we woke up to snow Sunday morning and it is still on the ground and doen't look like it is going any where soon. So who knows about the other 20 lawns. I went to moab for the jeep safari over easter weekend it was way fun. The week before we went to sunshine for the baseball tourny Springville ended up losing to Spanish Fork in the Finals.
Well sorry it is short.

Tuesday

Hey-
This weekend was fun. I helped Devin & Bret move the entire weekend. I stayed over at there place on Friday night. There place is nice, except for the wind blowing the entire time! In woodshop I took my pattern for the glass in to get made, and to find out the cost between the beveld glass and just regualar DS glass. It was a joke in the price difference. They want $60 for a piece of bevaled glass, or compared to DS glass which is only $10. Yeah, so in the three to four days of waiting for glass I drew up my entertainment center. I finaly made up my mind and then the glass came so now back to working on the china hutches. They are coming along great! Just need to go faster so I can get the entertainment center done by the end of the year.

Thursday

Hey Guys-
Well the basketball team lost by 6. They lost it in the end just like normal. In shop I got the side pieces all done just waiting for the beveled glass to get ordered and come. Then we can put them together. So for now I am working on my crown molding for the top of it. This weekend all of the bishopric are going up to Salt Lake. So Party at home. I wish I am going to help Bret and Devin move in to there new houses, and play WII!! Probably pass out some flyers for aerating. I hope we get a lot of business, to keep us busy!!

Monday

Hey-
Today was a pretty boring day. Before school and in first period I got the side part of the upper parts of the china hutch put together. So in Eniglish we took a quiz on Frankinstien. I hate that book it is very stupid. So for thirs period I took my stuff out of the clamps, scraped the glue, and filled my holes with putty so I can sand sometime tomorrow. The boys basketball team plays in the fist round of state tomorrow. So the school is taking 3 bus loads of kids up to it to cheer them on. So I signed up to go to the game. The bus leaves tomorrow at 7:00 in the morning. The game starts at 9:30, up at the Dee Event Center in Ogden. So I think it is going to be fun. The boys play Murray it should be a good game. We should win, but who knows. So we will see how that turns out. I will keep ya posted.

Well last night was great. I was the very last person to be interviewed in all of the categorys. It was good they just asked me about my portfolio mostly. When we got on the computer last night at 1 in the morning to see if I had advanced to the finals, and YES my name was on there so right now I am one of the top 15 in the state for trade and technology. So on March 5th I have another interview up at Alta High School. Then the awards ceremony is on the 26th or something like that. Now about DMALES. It was awesome!!! It was very tight!! I am going to put it on youtube pretty soon it will be awesome!!! Lets just say I am happy that it all worked out.

A little Trouble Maybe?

Well today is a big day. I have my Sterling Scholar Interview at 5:50 at Provo High. I also have DMALES at 7:00 tonight. I don't know how long my interview is going to be. It says to show up to it a half hour early. I just hope that everything will work out!!! DMAlES is going to be awesome tonight! I learned (thanks to Randie) how to do a round off last night. So along with the back flip I do my round off!! The other thing is that we are having DMALES practice at 6:15 tonight. So I don't know how this is all going to work out I just hope it does some how!

A Day Off

Today we don't have school. It is great. I Slept in until 10:30. Then got up and played Wii, and drank a Dr Pepper. Lynsie and Trevor are leaving today at noonish I think. They brought a new Wii game with them it is Mario and Sonic at the Olymic Games. It is way fun. For the rest of the day I don't have any thing planned. Well that is about it for today so far.

Monday

Hey-
Today started off kind of boring. In shop the this morning I took measurements for the adjustable shelves. 1st period me and dad took my cedar chest home. You can't even tell what happened. Then we went back to school and I drew up the china hutch plans for the top part. 2nd period I still worked on on drawing my plans. 3rd period seminary I tried to pay attention but it didn't happen i worked on my plans again. 4th period I cut all of my adjustable tracks. I got them all the way done just ready to put them in. I am still waiting so I can get my 18" drawer tracks. We ordered them on friday so why they aren't here I have no idea. After school I went and got my check and deposited it. Then I came home and washed my car,and Bret Blakeys. That is about it. Well Prisonbreak is starting so off to watch the best show ever.

Wednesday

This morning at 6 DMALES started. It was a blast. I found out how uncoordinated I really am. The first part is the military section. Then we do headstands and a kickline then backflips, then the dance section and soulja boy. Yeah! Then I came home before school started and was playing some music in my room and my speaker on top of my 6 drawer rattled to the edge and fell off taking out the back corner of my cedar chest. I started to cry when I noticed it. In woodshop today I got the alder China cabinet all sanded and a final coat on it so it is ready for hardware tommorrow. My cabinet the oak one I still need to sand and put a final on it. Well time to read scriputes.

Today

Hello folks-
Yeah so today in woodshop I bondoed the rest of my stuff. So I start sanding my doors and my cabinet so I can start to stain them. I got my doors all done and so probably just tomorrow morning left sanding and then I can stain and laquer them then I will be done with the bottom portions of the china hutch.
DMALES starts on wednesday. It is going to be way fun. I guess. Wednesday we start at 6 in the morning and go till 10 when school starts cause the sophomores are doing testing.

Finally

Yeah I finally finished my sterling scholar packet.
Well sort of I guess. Well last night me and mom ventured over to Kinko's, at about 11. We got all of the pages printed off and it all bound up over there. So I take it to school to hand it in and then i get looking at it and I noticed a bunch of mistakes. So afterschool me and dad fixed all of them and then I headed back over to Kinko's to get them reprinted. So it is all done at home sitting on the table I am so sick of it that I dont even want to look thew it to find (yes I know) more mistakes. So who cares if there are mistakes now. I am going to hand it in anyway.

Today

Hello-
Well for today it is susppose to snow 4-9 inches today in the valleys. Well as of right now it is cloudy and about 37 Degrees out there. Today in woodshop I am working on my doors for the china hutches. I should get the close to putting them together. I got to put a huge dent in my sterling scholar packet sometime today. It is due on wendsday. Now I am A T.Aing for dad for 1st period.
Well off to work on my sterling scholar packet.

Last Night

The Senior ball was fun! It was a blast. The twenty dollars to get in I would have to say was worth it. They had Magelbys catered there. We ate for about an hour. Then danced from like 7:30 to 11:00 ish. It was very hot and fun!!! Danced with a few girls just cause i didn't what to be mean cause all there friends were dancing and I didn't want to be mean by having them just stand there. I am in about a thousand differnt pictures. In some that i dont even know who they were. Yeah thats about it.

Todays Events

Well to day was eventfull.
To start off in shop this morning i got my wood
for all my doors for the china hutches.
I got them almost ready to shape them by the end of the day.
I also glued up my panels.
Then in english i probably failed a test on macbeth.
Then for welding i worked on my Sterling Scholar letter.
Now i am going to the basketball game at Provo High with Cheese.
